Julia studied design in Germany and UK and worked as a strategic consultant and managing director for international branding and UX agencies such as MetaDesign, Zeichen & Wunder and icon incar, on projects for BMW, BMW i, SAP and adidas. After twenty years in business, she quit her job as Managing Director in order, as she says, »to work in a completely different way, to think big and to pursue the relevant questions of our time with like-minded people«.
In 2016, she started her blog »diary of the digital age«, where she writes about how our lives, thoughts, corporate structures and relationships are changing in the digital age, as a long-term project. Blog and newsletter are read by several thousand readers every month. Julia also publishes articles for designreport, Horizont and W&V and is working on the book project »Slow Thinking«.
With her coaching and workshop program »design your story« she helps entrepreneurs to not only find out who they really are, but also use storytelling as a powerful method for designing their vision – and their business models.
Julia lives in Munich, is married to the entrepreneur Marco Peters and raises two teenagers in her spare time.
